Ok so I've been planning a project about connection and want this shoot to be related. I’m interested in the ways people connect through physical touch. How care is expressed through touch or lack of – through eye contact or lack of.
Environment/Lighting:
Natural light. Simple, non-distracting backgrounds. I would loveeeee to shoot outdoors but because I want light wardrobe I’m looking into renting a studio with big windows.
For the shots with a lot of negative space I’d like to try a couple outside with winter jackets, but a majority would be shot indoors.
Wardrobe:
Basic/essentials. Josh: white tee. Lyss: white tank/cami. No logos. Jeans, white shoes for both. If not white shoes, black or grey. Just basic, no show stoppers lol. The focus is on y’all faces/interactions, not the wardrobe or background.
Hair/Make-Up:
Natural look. Light make-up for Lyss. Josh let your curls flourish. Lyss lemme know if you still need shots with your hair straight, if not curls to di wurrrrld.

Gestures I've been drawn to & why -------->

A lot of negative space. No eye contact.

Eye contact with camera, not between couple

EYE CONTACT, no touching

Playful

Touch
